Low Voltage Technician Minnesota Security - Edina, MN 55439
DESCRIPTION
Admit One Home Systems and Minnesota Security, are seeking a Low Voltage / Security Technician. We specialize in custom security systems including – Alarm systems (DSC & GE), CCTV, card access, and integration.
Work environments are in the residential and light commercial realm. Ideal candidates will have some experience with Low Voltage Cabling, termination, computer networking or other.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Use of basic hand tools
Perform systems installations - existing and new construction
Low voltage cabling (Security wire, RG6 Coax, Cat5/6, Telephone wiring)
Educate and train end users
An upbeat attitude
A willingness to learn
General Computer knowledge
Current Drivers License
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School or Equivalent
Technical degree preferred
SUMMARY
The Low Voltage/Security Technician will report directly to the Security Department manager. The ability to work closely with homeowners, builders, and other trades is an important requirement for this role. In addition, working as part of a team and a positive attitude are a must!
