***Safety Reminder***

With record snow fall for much of the area, it’s important to keep your furnace vents, intake valves and chimneys free of snow.

Blocked vents could cause carbon monoxide to build up in your home and cause carbon monoxide poisoning.

Fresh air intake pipes usually look like white plastic tubes coming out of the side or back of your house.

If you have a carbon monoxide detector, make sure it has working batteries. If you suspect a problem, immediately open doors and windows, and leave the home.

Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include headaches, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath and stinging or burning eyes.
